New GPWe are pleased to let you know a new doctor will be joining Coastal Medical Rooms in late November. Dr Matthew Claridge is from Palmerston North and is looking forward to joining our practice. Fee IncreaseWe understand visiting your doctor can be costly. Our fees have remained unchanged since September 2023. Sadly, we are unable to maintain these rates without compromising the range, quality and accessibility of services we offer.
Our fees will increase from 4th November 2024 and apply to the following services:
There has been no change to prescription fees or enrolled patients with a Community Service Card (CSC) as these fees are capped. Enrolled patients under the age of 14 remain free.

Even if you don't have any data, you can access Healthify using the Zero Data portal Local PharmacyCheck with your local pharmacy to find out more about what treatment and advice they can provide. Health Coach (Free Service)Our Health Coach, Kathryn, is available on Tuesday & Wednesday all day, and Thursday mornings and can offer advice, support and help navigate towards community support. Health Improvement Practitioner (Free Service)Our Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) is available on Monday & Tuesday all day, and Wednesday mornings and can assist with:

We are a friendly team of doctors, practice nurses and support staff who are interested in your health and well-being. Our surgery opened in October 1999 and provides a comfortable waiting area and extensive parking with easy access.
